In 2016, a group of law enforcement officers from across Oklahoma, each with many years of experience, came together and realized the need for a state organization that represented the SWAT and tactical community. This organization realized the need for a place for first responders to exchange information and create state standards for tactical teams. In addition, we found that there was a need for training that was current, relevant and that was a low cost to officers and their agencies.
